Carol Robinson began her career at an international executive search firm, where she worked with an array of public and private sector organizations. Carol then led the Board Resourcing and Development Office (Office of the Premier, BC Provincial Government), where she identified numerous candidates and conducted board governance training for multi-level provincial agencies, crown corporations, post-secondary institutions boards.

 

In 2008 Carol became a founding equity partner of Harbour West Consulting working with organizations throughout British Columbia and across Canada.  In 2017, she established Clear Talent (People Solutions) to further service roles across client organizations and provide holistic human resources support. She continues to lead a robust search and consulting practice and is a sought-after public speaker both locally and internationally on public and non-profit sector recruitment, board appointment and governance best practices.

 

Carol is a consummate volunteer and currently serves as a Board Member of Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland and is the Gala Committee Chair. Additionally, she is a Board Member of the Lower Lonsdale Shipyards District Business Improvement Association. She is a former Public Member for the College of Midwives of British Columbia and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of British Columbia. In 2018, Carol was a YWCA Women of Distinction (Entrepreneurship & Innovation) and Veuve Clicquot New Generation Award Finalist.
